AI consultation and audit
Find out where AI is worth the money in your business, before you spend it
An assessment of your processes, systems and data, done by the team who'd build the automation afterwards. Start with a free discovery audit to see where the opportunities are, or take the full audit for a scored readiness assessment, a prioritised roadmap and a review session.

Inside the full AI audit
Nine deliverables, all written for your business rather than assembled from a template. Everything below is produced by the people who would build the automation afterwards, which is why the recommendations come with real effort estimates rather than guesses.
Audit report
A written assessment of your processes, systems, data and the tools you already run. Documents where work is manual, where it's duplicated, where information gets re-entered, and what that costs you in time each week.
AI readiness scorecard
Your position scored across four dimensions: data quality, process maturity, systems and integration readiness, and automation opportunity. Shows where you stand and what has to be true before each opportunity can be built.
Opportunity shortlist
Every automation candidate we find, ranked by impact against effort. Each one states what it would automate, which systems it touches, and roughly what it takes to build, so you can draw the line yourself.
Systems diagram
A map of the tools you use, how they connect, and where they don't. Most businesses have never seen this drawn out, and the gaps in it are usually where the manual work lives.
Data flow diagram
How information moves through your business end to end, from where it enters to where it's finally used. Marks the points where it's re-keyed, exported, or stops being trusted.
Impact estimate
For each shortlisted opportunity, an estimate of hours currently spent and what changes once it is automated. Based on your own volumes and cycle times, measured during the audit rather than assumed.
90-day and one-year roadmap
A sequenced plan. What to build first, what depends on what, and what's worth waiting on. Written so you can execute it with us, with your own team, or with someone else.
Quick wins
The things worth doing straight away, usually small, usually not worth a project around. Listed separately so they don't sit behind the roadmap waiting for a budget cycle.
Review session
A 60-minute call to go through the findings, argue with the conclusions and decide what happens next. The report is yours either way, with no obligation to build anything with us.
Ask for a sample report during your discovery call. It shows the structure and depth of an audit. Your report will differ, since the findings depend entirely on your processes, systems and data.
How the audit is done
Five stages, run over one week. The first two need time from your team, roughly an hour in total. The rest is on us.
Intake
You complete a structured questionnaire covering your company, the systems you run, the processes that matter, and where the pain is. Department heads can each fill in their own section, so the picture comes from the people who actually do the work rather than from one person guessing on their behalf. Typically 30 to 60 minutes.
Process mapping
We walk through your core processes with you and draw them as they actually run, including the workarounds and the spreadsheets nobody mentions in the SOP. This is where most of the findings come from, and it's the part that can't be automated or shortcut.
Systems and data review
We review the tools you use, how they connect, what each one holds, and whether the data in them is structured enough to build on. No access to your systems is required. This runs on architecture information, screenshots and documentation your team provides.
Scoring and prioritisation
Each opportunity gets scored on impact and on effort, and your business gets scored on the four readiness dimensions. Scoring is applied the same way every time, so the ranking reflects your situation rather than which process was discussed last.
Roadmap and review
Findings are written up into the report, scorecard, diagrams and roadmap, reviewed internally, then delivered. We walk you through it on a 60-minute call and agree what happens next.
Every finding is reviewed by the person who would build the automation. That's the check on recommending something that looks good on paper and turns out to be expensive to build.
What we need, and what we do with it
The audit runs on information about how your business works, not on access to your systems. Here is exactly what that means.
Nothing on that list requires logins, credentials or a connection to your environment. If a screenshot or an export would help, your team decides what to share and redacts it first.
We don't need access to your systems. The audit is built on questionnaires, interviews and documentation you provide. If a specific finding would need deeper access, we ask first and scope it separately.
We don't use your information for anything but your audit. It isn't repurposed for other clients, other work, or anything else once the audit is delivered.
We don't put your data into AI tools that train on it. Where we use AI in our own analysis, it runs on services configured so inputs aren't retained or used for training.
We'll sign an NDA before anything starts. Send yours, or use ours. Either way, before you share the first document.
You can ask us to delete everything. Once the audit is delivered and the review call is done, say the word and your material is removed from our systems.
If any of this needs to be firmer for your compliance team, tell us during the discovery call and we'll put it in writing before the engagement starts.
What we can build once the roadmap exists
The audit tells you what's worth building. These are the engagements that follow, scoped and quoted against your own roadmap rather than off a list. Same team, so nothing has to be explained twice.
Build the first automation
Typically 2 to 4 weeksWe take the highest-ranked opportunity from your roadmap and build it end to end: process design, integrations, approval steps, testing and handover. Hosted and monitored from day one, so it doesn't become something you have to maintain.
Automation programme
OngoingSeveral workflows built in sequence over a defined period, following the roadmap. Priorities get revisited as each one goes live, since the first build usually changes what matters next.
Systems integration
Scope dependentConnecting tools that currently don't talk to each other, so data moves once instead of being re-entered. Often the prerequisite the roadmap flags before anything else can be automated.
Hosting and monitoring
MonthlyWe run your automations on infrastructure we manage, with retries, error alerts and execution logs. Fixes and changes when an API moves are covered rather than quoted separately.
Data cleanup
Scope dependentWhere the audit finds data that isn't structured well enough to build on, this is the work that closes that gap. Usually the difference between an opportunity being buildable now or in six months.
Team training
Per sessionSessions for the people who'll live with the automations: what they do, how to spot a failure, when to escalate. Also runs as a practical session on using AI tools for teams that want it.
Everything here is scoped and quoted after the audit, against what your roadmap actually says. If you take the full audit and go ahead, the audit fee is credited against the first engagement.
Common questions about the AI audit
An AI audit is a structured assessment of your processes, systems and data to find where automation or AI would actually pay off. It produces a ranked list of opportunities, a readiness score, and a sequenced plan for building them. It's a planning exercise, not a sales process, and the output is useful whether or not you build anything with us.
