# Frappe & ERPNext Development

https://www.azriotech.com/services/frappe-erpnext-development/

Azrio Tech implements, customizes, and migrates Frappe and ERPNext systems, covering everything from first setup to Tally or spreadsheet migrations to ongoing support. The same team that runs your ERP can also build custom software around it, so extending past standard modules does not mean starting over with someone new.

## Services we offer

- **Implementation**: First-time ERPNext setup, configured around how your business actually operates, not a generic template.
- **Customization & App Development**: Custom Frappe apps and ERPNext customizations for workflows the standard modules don't cover.
- **Migration**: Moving from Tally, spreadsheets, or another ERP into ERPNext without losing your historical data.
- **Integrations**: Connecting ERPNext to the other tools your team already uses, so data moves on its own.
- **Training & Consulting**: Getting your team comfortable running ERPNext day to day, not just handing over a login.
- **Support & Maintenance**: Ongoing fixes, updates, and version upgrades from the team that already knows your setup.

## Why choose Azrio

- **ERPNext is a core focus, not a side skill**: Implementation, customization, and support for Frappe and ERPNext are an ongoing focus for the team, not a service added on top of something else.
- **One team for the ERP and everything around it**: The same developers who implement your ERPNext instance can also build the custom software or integrations it does not cover out of the box.
- **Real experience with Tally and spreadsheet migrations**: Moving off Tally or manual spreadsheets is one of the most common starting points we work from, not an edge case.
- **Support that doesn't start from zero**: Fixes and upgrades come from the team that already knows your configuration, not a new person reading your setup for the first time.

## How we work

1. **Discovery** — We map your current processes, the systems you're replacing or connecting to, and any historical data that needs to carry over, usually by sitting with the people who use the current system daily. That tells us which modules you need.
2. **Configuration** — Modules, user roles, and workflows get set up to match how your team actually operates, not a generic ERPNext demo. We configure accounting, inventory, sales, and other modules your business needs, flagging anywhere the standard setup won't fit.
3. **Migration** — Historical data comes across from Tally, spreadsheets, or your previous ERP, including chart of accounts, inventory records, and transaction history. Every migration is checked against the source data before go-live, so numbers match instead of drifting.
4. **Training** — Your team gets hands-on training on the actual configured system before go-live, not a generic ERPNext tutorial. We walk through the workflows people will use every day, so the system doesn't sit unused after handover.
5. **Support** — Once you're live, the same team that implemented the system handles fixes, version upgrades, and new configuration as your business needs it. Support comes from people who already know your setup, not a new consultant reading your instance.

## Tools we use

- **Frappe Framework** (Framework): The open-source framework ERPNext is built on, and what we use for custom app development inside your instance.
- **ERPNext** (Framework): The ERP application itself, with modules for accounting, inventory, manufacturing, HR, and more.
- **MariaDB** (Database): ERPNext's default database, handling your transactional and master data.
- **MySQL** (Database): Used interchangeably with MariaDB depending on your hosting setup.
- **Server Scripts** (Customization): Python-based custom logic added directly inside ERPNext without a separate app.
- **Custom Frappe Apps** (Customization): Standalone apps built on the Frappe framework when a change goes beyond what scripting covers.
- **REST API** (Integration): ERPNext's built-in API, used to connect it to the other systems you run.
- **Webhooks** (Integration): Event-based triggers that push ERPNext data out to other tools automatically.

## FAQ

**What's the difference between ERPNext configuration and customization?**
Configuration means adjusting settings within existing ERPNext modules, like roles, fields, and workflows. Customization means writing code, custom apps, or scripts to add capability the standard modules do not have.

**Can you migrate us from Tally to ERPNext?**
Yes. Tally migration is one of the most common projects we take on, including historical data, chart of accounts, and inventory records.

**Do you only implement ERPNext, or do you also build things on top of it?**
Both. Implementation gets the ERP running. From there we also build custom apps, integrations, and reports that extend past what ERPNext ships with.

**How long does an ERPNext implementation take?**
It depends on how many modules and how much historical data are involved. A straightforward setup can take weeks; a full migration with customization takes longer. We'll give you a real estimate after discovery.

**What happens after go-live?**
Support and maintenance continue from the same team that implemented the system, covering fixes, updates, and version upgrades.
